I have tried the strawberries with balsamic vinegar in an Italian restaurant and tried to do it at home but it was not the same.
During a trip to Milan I went to the Gustorotondo shop and I was advised to try the Tinello Red which I later tried with fruits and was exactly what I was looking for! The real sweet-sour taste of the balsamic vinegar! I was explained while in the shop that the difference with other balsamic vinegars is that this one is pure and aged while many brands on the market just add lots of caramel and sugar to the mix

The consistency is thicker than the yellow balsamic vinegar of the same producer. it goes well with fruits as desert or with main meals. I have also use it with roast beef and taste delicious.
