Born in Piemonte, near Alessandria, at the beginning of the 20th Century, Giraudi is an artisanal company famous for the high quality handcrafted chocolate.
Today the company is run by Giacomo Boidi, nephew of the chocolatier Giraudi, together with family members and other passionate persons.
The Gianduia Hot Chocolate is a blend of precious cocoas enriched with hazelnuts for the preparation of hot chocolate with a soft and velvety texture.
To achieve the best result, dissolve the powder in a little bit of cold milk, and keep on adding small quantities of milk, sometimes stirring, until the chocolate boils. Let it boil for two or more minutes: the longer you boil it, the thicker the chocolate will be.
Unsweetened cocoa powder 22/24, Gianduia (sugar, cocoa butter, cocoa mass, hazelnuts 15%, whole milk powder, almonds, vanillin. Emulsifier: soya lecithin. Cocoa min. 30%), sugar, cornstarch.
