A DELICIOUS TRADITIONAL PESTO RECIPE

‘Pesto’ is an Italian word that translates ‘crushed’, and the basil pesto is one of the most traditional pestos.
The organic Basil Pesto is a versatile sauce that can be put to many uses:
- It is an excellent pasta sauce. To use it with pasta, dilute it with a little of the water used to cook the pasta before mixing; then pour it on the drained pasta and mix well. It will take 2 or 3 teaspoons of pesto per person. If desired, add a drizzle of raw extra virgin olive oil and Parmigiano Reggiano cheese.
- It is great also to prepare delicious croutons – spread it on toasted bread for a tasty appetizer -.
